Dawn Griffey Dawn Griffey serves as the Director of Major Gifts for the YMCA of Greater Seattle. Previously Dawn served as the Executive Program Manager for Team Survivor Northwest, a health and fitness organization for women cancer survivors. Dawn graduated from Gonzaga University in 1998 with a BA in Psychology and also holds a Masters of Public Administration degree from the Daniel J. Evans School of Public Affairs at the University of Washington (2002). |

Katie Mosehauer Katie Mosehauer is a graduate of the University of Virginia and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology and minor concentrations in Gender Studies and Performance Music. She comes to Gage with a varied history of non-profit management— she got her start running political campaigns for environmental organizations across the country and has worked with the Democratic Party and social justice causes here in the Seattle political scene since 2003. More recently, she transitioned to the arts full time and served as Associate Director of the Olympic Music Festival. She became the Development Manager for Gage Academy of Art in 2007. |

Hannah Steinweg Hannah Steinweg is the Development Manager at the Hands On Children’s Museum in Olympia, Washington. Hannah joined AFP through the 2008 scholarship for a way to expand her knowledge of the fundraising arena as well as an opportunity to gain practical knowledge through the programs and website that AFP offers. Currently pursuing her masters degree in Public Administration with a focus on Non-Profit Administration, Hannah also sits on the board of directors of the Junior League of Olympia, volunteers with the Dispute Resolution Center in Olympia, the Christmas Forest with the Providence St. Peter Hospital Foundation and Daughters of the American Revolution. Margaret Su Margaret Su is Grants Manager at the Wing Luke Asian Museum. Prior to relocating back to Seattle, she served as the Senior Development Officer at GlobalGiving in Washington, DC. Other work experience includes fundraising at Defenders of Wildlife and consulting at Ernst & Young. Margaret currently volunteers for BEAN as the Director of Fundraising Strategy and Sponsorships and is involved with redesigning their website and developing corporate sponsorships. She holds a B.A. in Economics and Asian Studies from Swarthmore College and a M.A in Japanese Studies from University of Michigan. When not thinking about fundraising, Margaret spends time renovating her home, teaching her dog new tricks, and doing yoga. |

Marcie Wirtz Marcie received her Certificate in Fundraising Management from the University of Washington this past May. The program introduced her to many outstanding fundraising professionals! “I learned about AFP through them and knew this would be a great place to learn from the best fundraising minds around! I’m so thrilled that AFP awarded a scholarship to me so that I can participate in this amazing organization.” Marcie is the Development Manager for Village Theatre at the Everett Performing Arts Center. Village Theatre is a leading producer of musical theatre in the Pacific Northwest with four main programming components: Mainstage, Village Originals, KIDSTAGE and Pied Piper. She is responsible for cultivating the Everett donors through Backstage Parties and thank you calls. She writes grants to support the Youth Education & Outreach Programs that serve more than 54,000 children, families, and schools. Marcie also coordinates and executes two major fundraising events: the Youth Education Luncheon and the Annual Auction & Gala. “I love special events so much that I end up volunteering for other organizations’ events, such as The Woodland Park Zoo’s Jungle Party, Overlake Hospital’s Bandage Ball, and Make-a-Wish Foundation’s Wish Night Gala & Auction, to name a few. I’m currently a member of the NDOA Winter Conference Committee.” When Marcie is not fundraising, she is a professional hula dancer with Mohala Na Pua O Ku’ulei hula group in Edmonds. She is also a proud member of the Washington State University Alumni Association and hopes to become more involved in the next few years. Go Cougs! |
